Circle for five flutes, composed in 1994, is an exercise in democracy for five performers (see the score in pdf below). Each performer picks their path through a collection of rhythmical phrases. The accidental clashes between the individual lines fuse into a unique, rhythmical flow.

By contrast, long, irregular, thick harmonies of the "Shattered" for piano from 1991, lonely, isolated notes, and abrupt changes in register, rhythm and dynamic, explore the poetry of broken things. The unusual harmonies that dominate the piece are derived from fragments of circles of different sizes. Score also available in pdf (see below).
The flute quintet was recorded by Jakov Srejovic Flute Consort which at the time of the recording (autumn 1994) consisted of: Tamara Vucic, Milica Jevic, Branka Matijasevic, Petra Radulovic and Ljubomir Dimitrijevic (flutes). "Shattered" was recorded by Anita Tomasevich in May 1992. Both recordings were created in the Studio of the Belgrade Music Academy.
